European private capital is increasingly betting on Morocco’s future as a regional transport and logistics powerhouse. Italian ferry operator GNV, part of the MSC group, has announced a €1.3 billion fleet renewal program that includes assigning its newest LNG-powered ferries to routes serving Morocco.

Morocco at the crossroads of Africa and Europe

The decision underscores Morocco’s growing importance as a gateway linking African and European markets. Its strategic location, modern port infrastructure and expanding transport networks continue to attract major international investors.
