The countdown to the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) is entering its final stretch. With just four days to go before kick-off, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) officially opened ticket sales for the tournament on Wednesday, July 22, in partnership with Visa. The competition, which will run from July 26 to August 16 in Morocco, is expected to attract thousands of fans for the biggest edition of Africa’s premier women’s football tournament.
Visa cardholders enjoy exclusive presale
The first phase of ticket sales is exclusively reserved for Visa cardholders, giving them priority access before tickets become available to the general public. The 48-hour presale began on July 22 and will end on July 23, after which all remaining tickets will be released for public purchase. The initiative is part of Visa’s partnership with CAF as the governing body’s official payment partner.
