Veron Mosengo-Omba thanks Morocco for supporting his administration

Outgoing CAF Secretary General Veron Mosengo-Omba has publicly acknowledged Morocco’s role in supporting his work during his tenure. Speaking to France 25, Mosengo-Omba highlighted the contribution of Mohammed VI and the Moroccan football authorities. “I want to thank His Majesty King Mohammed VI, who, through the federation led by Fouzi Lekjaa, provided my administration with excellent working conditions,” he stated. His comments underline Morocco’s increasing influence in African football, particularly in terms of infrastructure, organization, and institutional support within the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
