Africa has officially completed its lineup for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, marking a historic milestone for the continent’s representation on the global stage.

The Democratic Republic of the Congo sealed its qualification on Tuesday, March 31, after a narrow 1-0 victory over Jamaica in the intercontinental playoffs. With this result, DR Congo becomes the tenth African nation to qualify, filling all available slots allocated to the continent.

This expanded presence reflects the growing strength and competitiveness of African football at the international level, as more nations earn their place among the world’s elite.
